12 is the number of the day, even though it's the 1st of August. 12 pounds of blueblerries were picked by the Armitage family...6 were picked by Landon (6 berries, that is). And 12 days until our court date. 12 days until we find out if we can travel soon to bring Levi home. 12 days until we might become a family of 5. The number 12 is also the number you need to remember--because that's the night you need to start praying. Don't forget that Ethiopia is 7 hours ahead of us, so while we are sleeping our case will be going to court on the evening of the 12th.
So, besides Jesus' 12 disciples, the 12 Days of Christmas, the 12 months in a year, and there being 12 inches in a foot--today is number 12 day.
