Final Countdown!!

AAAAAAHHHHHH!!!!! It totally hit me this morning that we will be leaving in a week to go pick Levi up, and that we will officially get him 2 weeks from today. He will be ours in 2 weeks!!! OK, I'll give you a glimpse of the last couple of days around the Armitage house:

Fingerprints printed in Cleveland: check

Gift bought for Levi's nanny: check

3 people contacted to watch the boys: check

Logan's school supplies bought: check

Prescriptions picked up: check (Is it called Montezuma's revenge in Africa??)

Write out schedule for sitters: still need to do

Pack for Paul and myself: still need to do

Find converter for straight iron and camera charger: still need to do

And the list goes on... I'm telling you that my mind is swirling with all of the things that need to be done. Going back to our fingerprints...we had to be in Cleveland at 8am Monday morning. We got our fingerprints scanned into the computer, (because we had to apply for an extension--the originals expired on the 14th) and asked when we should be receiving our paperwork in the mail and the guy told us, "In the next couple of weeks. Why? You need it sooner?" I was like, "we're leaving next Wednesday, so we need it by the end of this week." So, please pray that it comes very soon--and that it won't affect our travels. Gotta love when you drive for an hour and a half for a 25 minute appointment. (Actually it would have been shorter than that, but I got the newbie finger-printer, and she had to have all of her entries checked by a supervisor)

Secondly, we have to have our flight itinerary emailed to our agency by Thursday. We received our confirmed travel dates on Monday, so now we start looking. We talked to a travel agent recommended by our agency and they have found some flights for us. None of them are convenient, but I guess...(say it with me) "you gotta do what you gotta do."

Logan has his first soccer game on the 24th (which is also the first day of school), so we are excited that we'll be here for that. We'll miss a few, but we know that the boys will be looked after and will have a blast with the 3 people watching them. God is so good to our family!!

And the patent leather Sunday shoes crack me up, too! The top pic is from June and the bottom picture was taken in July.
