Last week as Logan, Landon and I were driving home from church, Logan stated (more like yelled) th
at there was an "L" in the sky. He also said that right next to it there was a rainbow. I was like, "Yea right." As I'm driving, I'm pretending to look around while keeping my eyes on the road, and I don't see it. Well, he is so insistent that there is an "L" in the sky and a rainbow next to it, I figure I'll look a little harder for them. Still not seeing either of them until we are practically in the driveway, I finally see both plain as day right above our heads in the sky. How cool that there is a letter "L" in the sky and a rainbow beside it. Logan then said, "Mom it's the first letter of my name. And the rainbow is a promise from God. Logan and God together in the sky".
Then I said that not only is it Logan in the sky, it's Landon's and
Levi's letter "L" in the sky, too. What a great reminder of Psalm 19: "The heavens tell of the glory of God. The skies display his marvelous craftmanship. Day after day they continue to speak." Even though it's not exactly what David meant when he wrote that Psalm, it was meaningful to the 3 of us as we looked at the letter "L" next to the rainbow.
Only 11 more days until our Court Date! Keep praying for us to get a "Yes" from the Ethiopian government.
