I think that's from a Heinz 57 commercial. I can still see the guy sitting in a 50s style diner with a plate full of steak fries waiting for the ketchup to come out. But I did learn a trick about Heinz 57 ketchup bottles. Turn it upside down and hit the etched 57 with the palm of your hand--works like a charm...so I guess you don't have to wait as long for the best things in life if you know that trick.
I wish there was some trick to hurrying up the wait of this adoption. We were told yesterday that a part of our paperwork needs to be updated. Because our court date is June 10th, we have to have it to America World (our adoption agency) by the 1st. We ran around today getting this piece of paper notarized, and then we had to have it county certified at the Clerk of Courts. But here's the kicker, it has to be sent off to Columbus and then sent back, and then sent to Virginia where it will fly on a plane over to its final destination. So, we decided to tip our ketchup bottle upside down and hit it with the palm of our hand by driving ourselves to Columbus. That should speed things up a little bit. ROAD TRIP for the Armitage's.
The sad thing about this glitch in our paperwork is that there are a handful of other families in the same situation, but their court dates are at the end of May---way more pressure for those families! So pray for those that are affected by this glitch, and that all paperwork will be turned in with time to spare.
