More Waiting

Since our referral, we have been sooooo excited about our little Levi. But many of you have asked what's next. Paul and I have sent the proper paperwork to our agency stating that we will absolutely accept Levi into our family. Once the agency receives that paperwork, they will start working on getting us a court date in Ethiopia. We should hear when our court date is in about 3 weeks (give or take a week or two, haha) We don't have to be in Ethiopia in person as we have a liasion to represent our family. And then once we receive our court date, the ball starts rolling for travelling. So, keep praying for Levi's health and for the court date. The courts in Ethiopia close down from August to October, and so if we don't have a court date before August, we'll have to wait until the end of the year. As we've seen many times so far, God's timing is perfect, and we're trusting that it will be no different this time. Pray that we will be able to not just wait on the Lord, but to wait patiently on Him (Psalm 27:14).

  1. Mandy and Paul,
I found this by accident, reading Melanie Chin's Mom's blog. What wonderful news. We are praying for your family. And PS: Mandy your play piano so beautifully! We really enjoy hearing your play.
