The last week has been amazing for our family. As we've thinking about, praying for, and getting more excited about Levi joining our family, it's been awesome to envision his face while we do all of the above. We've loved it!! This passed week has been filled with lots of Congratulations and excitement for us. Logan took Levi's picture to school to show his classmates his new brother, and Landon has been practicing calling his new brother Levi, instead of "my bwown bwother".
I just wanted to share a funny story about something that a friend of ours said (used with permission). We were talking back and forth and she said, "what's new, Mandy." Well, since I'm always eager to share our exciting news, I asked her if she had heard that we were adopting. She said, "Yes." I told her that we had recently gotten information on the boy we would be adopting from Ethiopia. She responded by saying "Oh, I thought you guys wanted to adopt from Africa." Isn't that hilarious? I looked at her and said, "We are...Ethiopia is in Africa." haha I've laughed about that as I remember her looking at me and saying that!! And BTW, if you're the one that said this and are reading this entry, you're hilarious and we love you!
Keep praying for our family and the patience that we need to keep waiting. We're anxious to get on a plane and bring him home, but we know that God's timing is the perfect timing and we want to be able to wait for Him.
