I've joined a Yahoo! group that includes all families that have/or are in the middle of adopting from Ethiopia. One thing that we have in common is that we're all using the same adoption agency. Since I've joined this group, I do have to admit I've become more antsy and anxious about getting our referral. Every time the phone rings, I jump to get it thinking it might be our referral call. So, I'm hoping that this week will be the week, but if it's not I will try to put into practice Psalm 27:14.
I was at a girls retreat with our senior high students a couple of weeks ago, and we were talking about the attributes of God. One that totally popped out at me was that God is Omnipotent. I was reminded that God has the power to move our paperwork as fast or as slow as He wants to. He knows what is best for our family, so I'm trying to trust Him through this process.

So glad we can walk with you every step of the way til your little man is home!!! We can't wait to welcome him to the crazy Armitage family - think he's ready for us?? I'm so encouraged how every step of this journey so far as drawn you closer to the Lord - indeed, He's omnipotent and we can find such rest in that. And everything will come together to bring HIM glory!!! Looks like it's bedtime for your little man in Ethiopia - nighty night sweet boy - We love you!
