We told the boys they were allowed one piece of candy while out earning their loot, so after the first house Levi was trying to eat his sucker--wrapper and all. Unfortunately his costume was covered in fuzz, so there were a few times I saw him prying his sucker from his shoulder. Yucky, but priceless, I guess. We met up with some friends that live behind us, and the fun began. The older 3 boys (Logan and 2 of our neighbor boys) went with Paul because the younger kids were taking too long. Landon and Josiah had a blast running up and down each driveway saying "trick-or-treat"...and hopefully "thank you". Levi hit a few homes with the boys, and got the hang of it after a while...until a werewolf (that Mommy didn't notice) was handing out candy and scared him to death. So, he rode in the wagon after that. After several reminders to the boys about saying "thank you", we headed home with our candy stash.
The boys dumped the candy onto the floor, dug through and made sure everything was safe, and Logan picked out anything with nuts (he doesn't like nuts), and they all ate a few pieces. You would've thought Logan and Landon worked in the stock market with how they were making trades and turning them away. Cute.
Unbelievably, everyone's in bed (after a good teethbrushing) and there's nary a sound from their rooms. It was a great night for our family, and we loved spending it with our friends and their boys. Here's a few pics of our night in the neighborhood:

Great photos - somehow I think I missed the news of when you got Levi - I was thinking you were still waiting. I came across your blog link on Melanie Chinchilla's blog. I'm so excited for all 5 of you. What a delightful fall, Thanksgiving and Christmas awaits.
