Our tentative travel dates (if we pass court on the 10th) will be....drumroll please....June 20-27. Can you believe it?? That's 15 days from today! AAAAHHHHH!!!! And because Paul and I are leaving a few days earlier, it's even sooner. I read that info today and ran outside to tell Paul (who was busy planting our garden). And then after about 5 seconds, I started getting this "panicky" sorta feeling all over. We've got tons of stuff to do, to buy, to finish, to pack, to arrange, etc.
I printed off a couple of "Ethiopian packing Lists" that I googled today. I've gone down the list and scratched off things that we'll take and things that we might take and things that we definitely won't take. So, we'll start tomorrow organizing and getting things together. It'll be a crazy 2 weeks if we receive a "yes"...but it'll be SO worth it!! Who knows, it would be awesome if Levi were in Warren for the "Walk 4 Levi"!!!
Well, I might as well get to bed, because I think we're going to have lots of late nights ahead of us. But one more thought...as I was reading one morning in Ezekiel, God reminded me that He is a God of details. Not only does He see the BIG picture, He knows and is involved in ALL of the miniscule details. Check out this passage, Ezekiel 41, where God specifically gives dimensions for what the inner courtyard and Temple should look like. In the first 3 verses, He uses measurements that include 10 1/2 feet, 8 3/4 feet, and 12 1/4 feet. He goes on to describe exactly what it should look like, down to the quarter inch. WOW! He gives exact specifications in describing the walls, the levels, the columns, the Most Holy Place, etc. How reassuring to know that God is interested and involved in the details in our lives. God is so Good!!!
Keep praying for our family! "Our lives are in His hands, and He keeps our feet from stumbling." Psalm 66:9

p.s. Sorry Armitage clan that we moved our family vacation from August (because we thought we'd be in Ethiopia) to the last week of June. As you've read--not too sure if we'll be there!! We can't wait to see you all and are excited for Levi to meet his aunts, uncles, and cousins!!
