A Year Ago Today...

Feeling a bit nostalgic over this upcoming week. So, here's a little update of what we were doing a year ago today!!

We were sitting in the Pittsburgh airport waiting for our flight to JFK, and then heading to Cairo. A year ago today began our journey of going to bring Levi home, and it has been an amazing year. God has been so good to us in how Levi has developed and bonded with our family. It has been awesome...not always easy...but God has given us what we have needed and we want to make sure He is the one who receives the credit for allowing this process to go so smoothly. It is hard for us to imagine Levi not being a part of our family, so we are very thankful for that, and the boys absolutely love him to pieces.

I'm going back and reading excerpts from our blog of when we were on our way to Ethiopia, and I am amazed at all that had to happen to get us there--the support and prayers and encouragement and hugs and phone calls along the way. My heart is full with thankfulness!
