Since I've been NOT SO consistent with blogging, I'm behind on posting about our special days as a Mom & Dad. We had great days, and it was so much fun enjoying each other.
MOTHER'S DAY
My day started out with a favorite from Starbuck's. Paul and Levi brought me a Caramel frappucino, and it was delicious!! I enjoyed a great day hanging out with the boys and Paul grilled a yummy meal for us in the evening! And Logan gave me the coolest plant (although I forgot what it's called--so if any of you "green-thumbs" out there know what it's called, that'd be great).

FATHER'S DAY
Paul's day was celebrated by having special burgers for lunch, a picnic dinner at a local park, and smoothie's for snack! Paul's gift was a little a on the late side (and as of this post, it's still not finished--oops!), but I think he'll get lots of use out of it...a cornhole game! He loves playing this, so I thought it'd be fun for him to have a Canadian set. Here are some pictures of our Father's Day (and of Levi enjoying his first ever corn-on-the-cob).

I think the common name for the plant is "Lambs Ear"
ReplyDeleteAs far as I know that is an annual called dusty miller (it has white/silver tinted foilage with jagged-ish edges of the leaves)...lamb's ear is a perennial with super soft leaves.
