Eight Months and Counting

Well, yesterday, May 2nd, marked the eighth month mark of having Levi. We are so proud of how he has adapted and attached to our family. It truly feels like it's been more than 8 months, not in a bad way, but because it seems like he's been with our family forever. Don't get me wrong...we still have our bad days--especially since he is becoming a picky eater, and he's becoming very good at throwing tantrums. These are all good things for us to see in Levi because it means he recognizes that there will be another meal coming, and it doesn't matter how he acts he knows we'll still love him. So, these are actions we want to see in him, but it doesn't make it easy dealing with a stubborn, independent, very curious, adorable 2-year-old.

Here are pictures of Levi on September 2 and May 2. Notice the difference...it really is amazing to see how much he has changed in such a short time. God has been so good to us, and we never want to forget to recognize that God has blessed us "beyond anything we can ask or imagine". It truly has been His love and grace that has gotten us this far, and will get us through the pickiness and tantrums...I'm sure of it. He would not call us to something and then leave us high and dry to figure it out on our own. Thank-you Jesus!
