Dr. Appointment #2

Last week Levi had a doctor's appointment, and I think the entire office knew that he was not a happy camper. We (Landon, Levi and I) waited for a few minutes and then once we heard Levi's name headed to the "check-in" room. As soon as we walked through the door, he knew that something was up. He ran to my legs, and I picked him up to calm his wimpers...but as soon as I had to take his shoes off so he could be weighed...SCREAM SCREAM SCREAM!! And that was only to take his shoes off.

Well, our little Levi has gained another pound and a half...YEAH!!! So, now he's up to 24.8 pounds...that's amazing! 4.5 pounds in 3 months--WOO-HOO!! God is taking care of our little Levi, that's for sure! And, he's grown another inch...that's awesome!! But, the entire visit was not all cheery...Levi's very healthy, but you wouldn't have thought it if you heard him screaming from Dr. Young listening to him breathing (or screaming is more like it). She hurried through his check-up, ordered him to start catching up with his vaccinations, and we were out the door!

So, we're done with the doctor's office until July... Another really cool thing is to see what's happening between Landon and Levi. Landon is fitting into his role as big brother. Landon loves asking if he can go see Levi after naps, he looks after giving him his sippy, he plays with him and shares his toys/snacks with him.

And Levi loves his big brother. Levi will run and find his sunglasses when Landon puts his on. When Landon puts his shoes on, Levi will go to his room and try to put his on. He loves to copy and imitate him. (And I think Landon loves being copied and imitated). Of course, this is not happening 100% of the time, but we have come a loooong way! It's great! And I am only saying that it is because of what God has done in our family that has allowed this to happen between the boys!
